What analytics were there today and why it was important in today’s sector outcomes?

… The DOW closed down -118.79 or -0.58% to 20,404.49 while the NASDAQ closed up +13.56 or +0.23% to 5863.03 …

… The CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) widely considered the best gauge of fear in the market, traded near 14.98 …

· Tuesday traded near 15.04 after Monday traded near 15 …-7% lower following Thursday’s 16 after last Wednesday’s 15.75;

The iShares Russell 2000 (IWM) indicated a positive +0.12% at the pre-open was and closed UP +0.35%;

… The iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology (IBB) did NOT indicate at the pre-open and closed UP +0.41%.

The advance/decline line scenario of 43 SCGT & RT covered companies:

· The open was positive with an A/DL of 26/10 and 7 flats;

· The mid-day stayed positive with an A/DL of 32/7 and 4 flats;

· The close was positive with an A/DL of 29/9 and 5 flats;

… Decliners ranged from -0.04% <ONCE> to -4.29% <NWBO> in 9 equities;
