It ain’t over as the cell therapy sector jumped … the short-term oversold has their acquittal

Even as the sector rises, there were few easy or juicy trades …

As I had stated, “Downside trading is telling you to go one way, take that as a sure sign you need to consider the oversold.”

Pre-open indications re-cap: 1 hit and 2 miss

Research note: Asterias Biotherapeutics (NYSEMKT: AST +$0.40) - BUY

I answer one question, in which company should investors commit and keep their money.

What have you missed, Tuesday’s results have implications to Wednesday's sector activity.

A daily report may say little or a lot and its final judgement may be inconclusive; yet it serves as insurance that all indications are being examined and evaluated.

The advance/decline line scenario of 43 SCGT & RT covered companies:

·         The open was positive with an A/DL of 17/16 and 10 flats ;

·         The mid-day was positive with an A/DL of 26/14 and 3 flats;

·         The close was positive with an A/DL of 25/13 and 5  flat;

Pre-open indications re-cap:  1 hit and 2 miss …

  • Brainstorm Cell Therapeutics (BCLI) closed up +$0.15 – hit;
  • Juno Therapeutics (JUNO) closed UP +$0.26 – miss;
  • Kite Therapeutics (KITE) closed up +$3.10 – miss;

Henry’omics:

From the pre-open’s investor’s newsletter … “Zig when others zag - Thoughts on going against the grain … which way is the sector telling investors to go?”

  • Reiterating, “Downside trading is telling you to go one way, take that as a sure sign you need to consider the oversold … Remember, Friday is an expiration day for options – are they in the money?  After a withdrawal, there is always a need to consolidate and regain some territory.”

It’s important to note that the last two days have shown little to no real signs of strength as even today was weak as to a few equities … other than BLUE, ONCE, KITE, JUNO and the news from AST that helped its mothership - BTX.
