The sector opened up, tanked at 12 p.m., flipped up at 3 p.m. and closed positive

Volume is still lower than the 3 month averages in most sector equities

Out and about: Why and what is Capricor (CAPR) hiding in their officer shuffle; today’s upside is a “pure” speculation “play” as Solid Biosciences (SLDB) debuts. It’s too bad they are NOT related even as CAPR (+$0.40) focuses on a “sliver” of the Duchenne (DMD) treatment in its platform which desperately needs a capital raise – SELL;

The Biostage (BSTG $0.00) chronicles … NOT trading again!

Pre-open indications: 4 hits and 3 miss (there was money on the table but, still ahead in the day)

Friday’s results have implications to Monday’s sector activity as a daily report may say little or a lot and it serves as insurance that all indications are being examined and evaluated!

Henry’omics:

From the pre-open’s newsletter, “… sector companies need to reduce their risk profile to satisfy a conviction BUY.”

As I stated, “It is the lack of news around the sector’s short and near-term catalysts which could make “our” universe - a tough investment proposition in MY view.”

I will stick to my premise that there is more than a lot of investor FATIQUE re pricing movement …!

The advance/decline line scenario of 40 SCGT & RT covered companies:

·         The open was positive with an A/DL of 26/12 and 2 flat ;

·         The mid-day was negative with an A/DL of 17/20 and 3 flat;

·         The close was positive  with an A/DL of 20/17 and 3 flat;

Pre-open indications:

  • Adverum Biotechnologies (ADVM) closed up +$0.55 – miss;
  • Applied Genetic Technologies (AGTC) closed flat $0.00 – hit;
  • BioLife Solutions (BLFS) closed down -$0.05 – hit;
  • bluebird bio (BLUE) closed down -$3.65 – hit;
  • Capricor (CAPR) closed up +$0.40 – miss;
  • Fate Therapeutics (FATE) closed up +$0.17 – miss;
  • Stemline Therapeutics (STML) closed up +$1.00 – hit;

MY working trend lines:

The greatest volume to the downside:  JUNO, IMUC, XON, VTGN and CYTX

Upside volume was weighted to:  CAPR, MDXG, ADVM, VCEL and SGMO

Biggest $ downside:  BLUE (+$3.65), RENE.L (-$1.00), QURE (-$0.54), XON (-$0.32) and RGNX (-$0.30)

Largest $ upside:  MDXG (+$1.50), CLLS (+$1.25), ONCE (+1.16), STML (+$1.00) and ADVM (+0.45)

Flat: BSTGD, ISCO and AGTC

Out and about:

Capricor (CAPR) stays in my sight line as my fourth (4th) phone call was cut-off - guess, they don't want to respond to questions!

Biostage (BSTGD) This management team WIPED OUT 20 M of holder’s shares and investment!

Previous close of $2.70 didn’t trade today, not a share – five (5) days so far?  This follows the projected $1.32 post the 1-to-20 reverse split – a $4 M in-flow just followed a $30 M investment loss incurring a $47 M deficit!

NO scientists, a CEO, CFO and 2 accountants don’t make a company who couldn’t pay their rent or communicate their issues to past “fleeced” shareholders …

I am NOT “eating” my negative declaration, my OPINION is still “COVER UP of male and female harassment and corporate MISDEEDS “by members of management team!

What did happen to (reasons) and the story “around” the IND NOT being filed and the cmo and president leaving the company? NEVER forget the storyline of the 2 broken financings before the reverse split!
