The long Easter weekend will give investors a breather after weeks of volatility
The break is also preceding Q1/17 quarterly results i.e. earnings, which are due to kick off in April.
U.S. financial markets will be closed on March 30 for Good Friday. The Easter weekend, including Easter Monday on April 2, also coincides with Passover this year, which began on Friday.
Most EU exchanges will also remain closed for Easter Monday.
Happy Easter …
We also commemorate Passover for those of the Jewish faith and their liberation from slavery which began on Friday.
