And a sigh of relief …

Next issue – which pricing is sustainable?

The NASDAQ (+1.64%), IBB (+1.98%) popped while volume was still low

Pre-open indications: 1 HIT and 2 MISS

End of day briefing; the “numbers” speak; if you know what happened today, you’ll understand what you need to do tomorrow!

Henry’omics:

Today’s moves … I breathed a sigh of relief, after a good jump (14 advancers to 23) at the 10:30 a.m. mark as investors saw the upside lights through the forest primeval.

Some sector “names” stocks hogged the lights - BLUE, ONCE, RGNX, AXGN and VCEL

While losers hid in the shade – SGMO, QURE, CLBS, OSIR and MDXG

  • One issue – low volume with good moves as volatility could be suspect;
  • Second issue – few if any headline;
  • Third issue – risk is hyped as many upsides could be “harvested

The advance/decline line scenario of 40 covered companies:

  • The open was negative an A/DL to 14/24 and 2 flat;
  • 10:30 am saw a positive upside with an A/DL of 23/12 and 5 flats;
  • The mid-day stayed positive with an A/DL of26/12 and 2 flats;
  • The close concluded positive with an A/DL of 21/18 and 1 flat;

From the pre-open’s newsletter, “… I repeat it’s time for the oversold to be recognized if you panic and sold; it’s time to consider getting back in. The sector can easily go up from here whether today, tomorrow or Monday – click some BUY orders.”

Pre-open indications: 1 hit and 2 miss

  • MiMedx Group (MDXG) closed down -$0.315 – miss;
  • Osiris (OSIR) closed down -$0.18 – hit;
  • Sangamo Therapeutics (SGMO) closed down -$1.10 – hit;
