Earnings season focus starts coming next week, so pay close attention to upcoming results that could affect your portfolio

Dow futures are UP +0.29% or (+101 point), S&P futures are UP +0.49% or (+22 points) and NASDAQ futures are UP +0.88% or (+136 points) early in the pre-open – so far
Stock futures ticked up on Friday
European stocks were lower,
Asia pacific markets were mixed after Bank of Japan adjusted its stance on its yield curve control policy.

Momentum finally ran out on Thursday … indexes were dropping like a stone Thursday, as the Dow closed DOWN -237.40 points (-0.67%), the S&P closed DOWN -29.34 points (-0.64%) while the Nasdaq closed DOWN -77.18 points (-0.55%).
Economic Data Docket: employment costs, personal income, consumer spending and consumer sentiment.
- Personal consumption expenditures price index, a gauge of inflation that’s closely followed by the Federal Reserve. Economists expect that the core PCE gained 0.2% from the prior month and climbed 4.2%

Stocks were setting up for a rebound on Friday, as investors prepared for the release of the Federal Reserve's favorite inflation measure and after a surprise Bank of Japan rate shift rattled markets.
Earnings are about to be ready for release – questions are …RUNWAYS on track for further downslides?
Few stocks are flashing buy, with sector names in particular facing a NO news period in the next few days, investors could NOT consider adding exposure.
There's nothing wrong with standing pat in the short run, holding on to sizable existing exposure.
I hate to be so negative or contrarian but, this is a NO spin zone and truth is its product; I can always be WRONG but, I am mostly EARLY!
