Throw an indication stone into a square of Initial Job Claims, Retail Sales and other econs; if it lands within the inflation consensus spectrum – you squirm or if it bounces out, you lose money i.e., depreciated share pricing
News: Sanofi’s (SNY) Rothko Merger Sub, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SNY, has extended the expiration date of its tender offer to purchase all of the outstanding shares of common stock, par value $0.001 per share of Blueprint Medicines (BPMC) for $129.00 per share in cash, plus one non-transferable contractual contingent right per share, representing the right to receive contingent payments of up to an aggregate amount of $6.00 per share in cash, upon the achievement of specified milestones on or prior to the expiration of the applicable milestone period.
Breaking: Jobless claims are suggesting that the labor market remains strong. The figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 221,000 for the week ending July 12, marking a decrease of 7,000 from the previous week’s revised level. Retail trade sales in June were up 0.6% from May, and up 3.5% from last year. That beat the 0.2% headline retail sales estimate. Sales excluding autos were also up 0.5% in the previous month, which also was better than the 0.3% estimate.
Pre-open Stones: another weak aftermarket/pre-open, although 4 Positive and 1 Sell into Strength Indications
And then there was another ‘stone” as President Trump “denies” plan to fire Fed Chair Powell; “why feed the news”, the better future is to wait for when there are stronger issues for “cause” and possible “prosecution” for his management actions
Never leave an investor uninformed …
I say what others won’t, so you can do what others can’t!
Remember that overnight and pre-open actions’ futures and markets doesn’t necessarily translate into actual trading in today’s market session.
I post about “indication intelligence” devoting my time to collection and analysis of information to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths. A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.
Let’s get to the point, few adverbs and even fewer adjectives, no vacillating; I get right to the point, telling investors what has meaning and why news or indications matter.

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths. A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.
- Yet again, I am passing on forecasting the daily indications due to econs, algos and electronic trading, vacation … it is still a mix of ups, downs and just uncertainty
Although a “stone to be thrown”:
Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (ALNY) closed up +$11.50 after Tuesday’s -$4.63 after Monday’s +$0.81 with a negative -$2.30 or -0.71% pre-open
CRISPR Therapeutics (CRSP) closed up +$2.48 after Tuesday’s -$3.69 after Monday’s -$0.38 with a positive +$0.71 or +1.29% pre-open – SELL into Strength
Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA) closed up +0.48 with a positive +0.15 or +1.25% pre-open

Mesoblast (MESO) closed up +$0.39 with a positive +$0.45 or +3.96% pre-open
The BOTTOM LINE: July is here as econs stifle the sector and markets, and summer doldrums, tariff conflicts, vacations and selling before the earnings cycle to pay for the lobster rolls.
- “I also hate to be so negative or contrarian but, this is a NO spin zone and truth is its product; I can always be WRONG but, I am mostly EARLY!”

Reiterating, “There are always some big ifs, especially given some of the headlines that could emanate after a past few months of news flatulence.
- Some believe in a “June Swoon;” however, June will be no better or worse than any other month. Although, I consider the so-called summer rally after the peripatetic or wandering.”
As always, I brace myself for more volatility, economics and their down trending affect?
