Investors will receive another pulse check with the release of weekly jobless claims

Buy, back on the horse after a throw following a volatile day of trading

Pre-Open Signals: 6 Positive

Never leave an investor uninformed … I say what others won’t, so you can do what others can’t!

To reiterate, although not today: “my hang-up or same-old mantra, every time I see a new high; I am of the opinion to say BYE. Also, if and as the market falls back into its sideways, choppy range, sector “positions” could be back struggling and suffer.”

No Don Quixote … yet, I continually ask, what do all these stock sources, I-Banks and brokers do for you anyway? Technological advances and the increasing availability of data have made intel both available and complex.  I see myself as a collector and my responsibility is to lead investors to interpreted data as I bridge the gap to an investment decision.

Remember that overnight and pre-open actions’ futures and markets doesn’t necessarily translate into actual trading in today’s market session.

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide ideas and context

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths.  A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.

  • Let ‘em ride, I see yet another econ – I see more green as September continues to close to the end of the Q, along with the usual ups, downs and just plain uncertainties

The BOTTOM LINE: A whipsaw after a bumpy ride? I’m in …

After a sector downdraft, post the Fed rate decision, jobless claims and fresh manufacturing data, offers a trend signal on the breath of the sector.

  • Existing in the realm, the stock market often has a day two reaction to Fed meetings.
  • Investors add exposure or to make new buys or add-on purchases while cutting relative laggards.
  • Then, if you're stepping on the gas, be ready to slam on the breaks. Know your speed limit.
