September and Q3’s end and “uncle algo and his electronic trading dwarfs” are looking for a pre-paid lunch by your portfolio

The risk of a looming midweek government shutdown needs to be taken SERIOUSLY as to indexes and their drivers, risks of even higher volatility, confidence, moving forward a destabilizing influence, driving another flight to safety and to a sputtering economy

Never leave an investor uninformed … I say what others won’t, so you can do what others can’t!

Always be vigilant … why you need to read RMi concerning your cell and gene therapy portfolio holdings

Remember that overnight and pre-open actions’ futures and markets doesn’t necessarily translate into actual trading in today’s market session.

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide ideas and context

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths.  A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.

  • I see red after as September continues to close with more econs coming and proximity to the Q’s end, along with the usual ups, downs and just plain uncertainties

Passing … as econs seem to dissolve share pricing or so it has!

The BOTTOM LINE: I can’t seem to let go of this quote, “It’s always darkest before the pitch dark” …

  • President Trump met with Democrats in the Oval Office on Monday, but both sides left the talks indicating they had made no progress on striking a deal that would avert a government shutdown. Lawmakers have until Wednesday at 12:01 a.m. ET to reach an agreement or else a partial government shutdown is set to begin. <Yahoo Finance>
  • A government shutdown could suspend the release of the jobs report and other economic data. Usually, markets aren't that affected by a shutdown initially, but could weigh on stocks and bonds if it persists.

The cell and gene therapy sector usually responds to alternating trend as I have written “econs have been poison” to our universe

  • With the cell and gene therapy sector seeing a few too many fits and starts, so …

September has historically delivered pullbacks, yet, this year’s 2025 market has defied that pattern — climbing 35% since March with strong technical and fundamental tailwinds,

Q2 Earnings are in the rear-view mirror; we are about to start again … Q3!

I also hate to be so negative or contrarian but, this is a NO spin zone and truth is its product; I can always be WRONG but, I am mostly EARLY!”
