The power of consequences ...

Government shuts, market and sector cuts; although history shows that traders usually take U.S. government shutdowns in stride

September and Q3’s ended Tuesday capping another strong month and Q3

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide ideas and context

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths.  A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.

  • October begins … with a new shutdown hurdle along with the usual ups, downs and just plain uncertainties

The BOTTOM LINE: I can’t seem to let go of this quote, “It’s always darkest before the pitch dark” …

  • The cell and gene therapy sector ended seeing a few too many fits and starts, so …

Tuesday, the 10-year Treasury yield rose 1 basis point to 4.15%. A lengthy government shutdown could unnerve bond markets. The government won't release economic data during a shutdown, including the September jobs report schedule for Friday.

Q2 Earnings are in the rear-view mirror; we start again … Q3 earnings!

I also hate to be so negative or contrarian but, this is a NO spin zone and truth is its product; I can always be WRONG but, I am mostly EARLY!”
