Keep your wallet in the draw!

The major indexes are near record highs; “Uncle algo and his electronic trading dwarfs” are STILL smelling some profits! With my usual mantra, “When indexes go this high, I say … BYE”

Pre-open Signals: 2 Positive Indications

Never leave an investor uninformed … I say what others won’t, so you can do what others can’t!

U.S. stock futures were noodling Tuesday, with investors opting to take some profit following 7 straight days of gains for the benchmark S&P 500. S&P 500 futures and contracts tied to the Nasdaq 100 were also each down 0.1%, after the gauges each notched record closing highs on Monday.

Remember that overnight and pre-open actions’ futures and markets doesn’t necessarily translate into actual trading in today’s market session.

Monday night’s … RMi Closing Bell: Red is the color of the sessionhttps://www.regmedinvestors.com/articles/14138

Henry’omics: We need to more than consider the markets …environment to comprehend the micro re “our” universe of cell and gene therapy companies

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide ideas and context

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths.  A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.

  • October begins with a government shutdown and fewer econs… along with the usual ups, downs and just plain uncertainties

Some indications in MY view:

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals (ARWR +$1.38 after Friday’s +$1.52 with a positive +$1.45 or +3.87% pre-open

Beam Therapeutics (BEAM +$0.14 with a positive +$0.17 or +0.66% pre-open

The BOTTOM LINE: I can’t seem to let go of this quote, “It’s always darkest before the pitch dark”

  • The S&P 500 closed at a fresh record for the 32nd time this year, up for 7 straight days, while the Nasdaq notched its 31st all-time high of 2025. The Dow ended the day lower, however. The Russell 2000 (RUT) index of small-capitalization stocks finished the previous session at a record high after crossing 2,500 for the 1st time.

Reiterating, “What to Do Now: The stock market with the major indexes all near record highs … “uncle algo and his electronic trading dwarfs” are smelling some FURTHER profits!”

Welcome to my world of defining the “grey’ in our universe!

  • I am more frequently right than consequentially wrong; if I wanted to be liked, I wouldn’t have been an analyst/journalist.
