Answering a question with a question; hope for a re-opening to end the shutdown which has continued 40 days, 6th weeks after 15 Democratic has voted NOT to reopen, becoming the longest in American history?

No one likes counting: 8 negative closes in the last 10 sessions with another week of earnings = positive moves

News: Intellia Therapeutics (NTLA -$2.80 or -22.73% to $9.52 with a +0.91 Monday pre-open) stock crashed Friday, adding to 2 weeks of setbacks after a patient in its gene-editing study died following serious increases in liver enzymes. NTLA was testing its gene-editing process, nex-z, in patients with transthyretin amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy and polyneuropathy. In this condition, abnormal protein called transthyretin builds up on the heart and nerves, causing complications.  NTLA had stopped dosing patients in the final-phase study after the patient was hospitalized.

“I hate to be considered negative or contrarian but, this is a NO spin zone and truth is its product; I can always be WRONG but, I am mostly EARLY!”

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide ideas and context

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths.  A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.

The BOTTOM LINE: Still feeling the drag…

The 6th trading day of November began with a positive hope

I got on my computer/laptop/ my horse with a lantern as I ride yelling … “earnings are here, earnings are here”!

  • Q3 Earnings coming: Arrowhead Pharma (ARWR) FY25 results on 11/25

Expect earnings’ results that meet, beat or miss revenue estimates, EPS as to pricing expectations, consensus … sector earnings while LPS (loss-per-share) assumes adjustments

Welcome to my world of defining the “grey’ in our universe!

  • As the leading voice of cell and gene therapy investors; I am NOT always a doom and gloom analyst/journalist but a man who has been “there” (BUY, SELL, VC and multiple operating roles) with the gray hair and a readership following with real numbers to prove it!
  • I am more frequently right than consequentially wrong; if I wanted to be liked, I wouldn’t have been an analyst/journalist.
