Trouble is brewing for cell and gene sector therapies (CG&T) equities

As Q4/25 and FY25 earnings cycle approaches

Pre-open Signals: Passing today; If you understand probabilities, the inevitable is easier to maneuver

Never leave retail investor uninformed … I say what others won’t, so you can do what others can’t

I make a commitment to provide need-to-know “facts in evidence” as an equity’s volatility is one tactical signal for stocks. My thesis is important in trying to distinguish the temporary from real pricing digression or progress

RMi Closing Bell: Eyes on… https://www.regmedinvestors.com/articles/14283

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide ideas and context

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths.  A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.

  • NOT seeing it, leave well enogh alone

The BOTTOM LINE: Welcome to my world of defining the “grey’ in our universe!

  • The S&P 500 and  Nasdaq looked set to cruise higher on Tuesday looking past or toward the threat of another government shutdown,
  • More than 90 S&P 500 companies are slated to report quarterly earnings this week.
  • They include “Magnificent Seven” giants Meta, Tesla and Microsoft — which are due Wednesday. Apple will share its results on Thursday.
  • Earnings season has been strong so far, with about 3 out of 4 S&P 500 companies beating expectations, per FactSet.

Don’t overlook:

  • Threats by Democrats in Congress to oppose funding the government beyond Jan. 30 due to the action of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have raised the odds of a shutdown above 70%, according to Jeremy Siegel, WisdomTree senior economist and an Emeritus Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. <CNBC>

Also, the Q4 and FY25 earnings cycle is about to appear beginning 2/5 and 2 more on 2/14

  • 2/5 – Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals (ARWR)
  • 2/5 – IQVA Holdings (IQV)
  • 2/12 - Vertex (VRTX)
  • 2/13 – Moderna (MRNA)

Welcome to my world of defining the “grey’ in our universe!

  • I hate to be so negative or contrarian but, this is a NO spin zone and facts and truth are its products; I can always be WRONG but, I am mostly EARLY!
  • if I wanted to be liked, I wouldn’t have been an analyst/journalist.

As the leading voice of cell and gene therapy investors; I am NOT always a doom and gloom analyst/journalist but a man who has been “there” (BUY, SELL, VC and multiple operating roles) with the gray hair and a readership following with real numbers to prove it!

  • I am more frequently right than consequentially wrong; if I wanted to be liked, I wouldn’t have been an analyst/journalist.
