The phrase is a colloquial idiom, cautioning against assuming the outcome before it is officially concluded.

Having started a new Q, BIG econs are set to be released; CPI, PCE as oil pricing is being churned by 5- weeks of conflict

With a chance of a ceasefire and a possible end to uncertainty?

Companies in my headlights – It’s your decision; I provide ideas and context

I post about “indication intelligence” looking toward investment conferences … to assist investors with insight into sector vulnerabilities and strengths.  A dictionary definition of “indicate” refers to something less than a certainty; an indication could be a signal of being oversold or overbought, a recommendation, or grounds for inferring or a basis for believing.

The BOTTOM LINE: Welcome to my world of defining the “grey’ in our universe!

Stock futures were rising on Monday … after the long weekend.

  • With markets digesting President Trump’s latest threats against Iran and hopes for peace.

The litany of maybes:

  • The U.S. and regional mediators are pushing for a 45-day cease-fire that could ultimately end the war.
  • The U.S. and Iran had received a draft peace plan mediated by Pakistan, Reuters reported, which would involve an immediate ceasefire. However, neither side has publicly confirmed the existence of such a proposal or their willingness to accept it.
  • The U.S. and regional mediators are pushing for a 45-day cease-fire that could ultimately end the war, The Wall Street Journal reported early Monday.
  • However. the chances remain slim, according to officials familiar with the matter.
  • Monday technically marks the end of a 10-day deadline Trump gave Iran last month to make a deal and open the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Another however, Trump wrote “Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. ET!” in a social-media post, and told The Wall Street Journal that the U.S. would destroy all of Iran’s power plants if the crucial waterway wasn’t reopened by Tuesday evening. <Barron’s>

Welcome to my world of defining the “grey’ in our universe!

  • I hate to be so negative or contrarian but, this is a NO spin zone and facts and truth are its products; I can always be WRONG but, I am mostly EARLY!
  • if I wanted to be liked, I wouldn’t have been an analyst/journalist.

As the leading voice of cell and gene therapy investors; I am NOT always a doom and gloom analyst/journalist but a man who has been “there” (BUY, SELL, VC and multiple operating roles) with the gray hair and a readership following with real numbers to prove it!

  • I am more frequently right than consequentially wrong; if I wanted to be liked, I wouldn’t have been an analyst/journalist.
