Help me be a friend, acquaintance or just a concerned citizen... who thinks of others in time of need! I don’t ask for any easy times.   Put me anywhere you need me.   I only ask that you let me  give 100% of everything I have.  If all the hard outcomes ... seem to come my way, I thank you for the ability to handle them all.  Help me remember that you never send a runner more distance than he or she could handle. And, help me, Lord, to accept this awful situation as part of this bloody marathon.   May I always run on the right side of the street, no matter what others may do.   Help me understand - so I’ll be available to help others.

Finally, God, if the natural turn of events goes against me  for any reason, help me accept ... that as part of the process.   Keep me from whimpering having framed my grief and feelings. And when I finish stating my feeling and thoughts for others, I ask for no laurels.   All I want is to believe in my heart that I spoken-up for others  as well as I could and that I didn't let anyone down. As my son, brothers and friends have stated <for years> .. we stood in that immediate area -a block from my previous residence! Henry
