Beware, this Friday marks quadruple witching, which is the simultaneous expiration of stock-index futures, stock-index options, single-stock options and single-stock futures, are typically volatile days.

Given what lies ahead of this triple witching period, this could be a particularly bumpy ride for stock investors.
