Its lead product candidate include ixmyelocel-T, to treat patients with severe chronic ischemic cardiovascular diseases, such as advanced heart failure due to dilated cardiomyopathy, the third leading cause of heart failure, and critical limb ischemia. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
